Classes
-
You want to get better at moving around on various surfaces and in various environments, both inside and outside: Carpets, grass, stairs, and snowy walkways; among crowds, at theaters, in the park, and in your living room!
- You want to challenge yourself in a safe environment to reduce your risk of falls and increase your balance and stability.
-
You are able to participate in medium-difficult activity without major health symptoms (like chest pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness).
-
You can hear and see well enough to participate in a group class, whether in-person or virtual.

Ballroom Basics for Balance™ (BB4B) – This is our original, core curriculum! A mix of levels from beginner to experienced. You move independently, with or without the help of a device like a cane or walker. You may want a spotter every once in a while, or you may not need one at all.
BB4B: Inclusive – These classes are tailored to specific groups or specific locations, such as assisted living, adults with developmental disabilitiess, or all-seated experiences!
BB4B: Next Steps – If you feel you are an experienced mover or have taken a few of our classes before, this one is for you!
BB4B: Ballet Basics for Balance – Ballet Basics for Balance is designed for people who are independent in mobility. You can dance in sneakers, supportive dance shoes, or ballet slippers. You will need a sturdy chair or table to use as a ballet barre. Free individual online orientation for new students.
